A leading provider of industrial services is seeking a Control System Engineer to join their team in Deer Park, TX. This role involves overseeing the design, commissioning, and operation of control systems and process control networks across multiple facilities. Supported platforms may include Rockwell, Emerson DeltaV, ABB, Wonderware, Siemens, and Canary.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborating with the Control Systems team to maintain operational readiness across multiple sites.
Proactively managing control environments to prevent incidents and downtime.
Implementing logic changes to improve reliability and reduce process interruptions.
Coaching operations and technical personnel on control strategies.
Developing and maintaining basic and advanced process control systems.
Standardizing control system platforms across 20+ facilities.
Establishing KPIs and dashboards to monitor system health.
Providing remote technical support to multiple sites.
Leading the resolution of control performance issues using critical thinking.
Working with vendors to design and commission new control and safety instrumented systems (SIS).
Driving continuous improvement of DCS infrastructure and project execution.
Developing centralized process historian solutions and ensuring data integration.
Managing backups and maintaining reliability of control system hardware/software.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, Automation, or Instrumentation Engineering preferred
5-7 years of relevant controls experience preferred
Strong experience with: FactoryTalk, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs, networking, Wonderware
Preferred familiarity with: Canary Historian, DeltaV, ABB, Siemens, AMS, OSI PI, Aspen, SCADA, SIS
Quick learner with up-to-date knowledge of control system technologies
Strong communication skills across all organizational levels
Ability to travel up to 20% and perform physical facility surveys (bending, stooping, climbing)
