MS Dynamics Consultant

We are urgently seeking either a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant or a Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Functional Consultant for a long-term contract engagement in downtown Chicago. Candidates must be currently local to the Chicagoland area and able to work onsite 2–4 days per week.

This role supports a multi-year (3–5 years) financial transformation initiative, which includes the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Customer Engagement (CE) to replace a large set of legacy systems, including MS Dynamics AX 2012.

MS Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant

Responsibilities:

Attend design sessions and gain a deep understanding of business processes and data relationships.

Provide hands-on functional support during the D365 implementation lifecycle.

Troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and perform root cause analysis.

Support the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase with a focus on user triage and feedback.

Train end-users and assist with system navigation and best practices.

Execute test cases in Azure DevOps (ADO).

Validate data mapping and perform data integrity checks.

Qualifications:

Strong functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and CE modules.

Proven ability to understand and translate complex business requirements.Excellent communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.

MS Dynamics AX 2012 Functional Consultant

Responsibilities:

Support and maintain the client’s current AX 2012 production environment.

Troubleshoot issues and perform detailed root cause analysis.

Understand and document business processes, data flows, and integrations.

Document resolutions and contribute to ongoing system support knowledge base.

Adapt to evolving client support needs and shifting priorities.

Qualifications:

In-depth functional experience with MS Dynamics AX 2012 (especially F&O).

Strong knowledge of business domains such as finance, supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics.

Proven ability to resolve complex system issues and work independently.

Clear communicator with both business users and technical teams
