Civil Project Engineer

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic Heavy Civil Project Engineer to contribute to the success of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy civil construction, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams. Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.

Prepare project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to meet established deadlines.

Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Could you assist in the selection and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers?

Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and RFIs.

Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and promote a safety culture on the construction site.

Provide technical support and resolve issues as they arise during construction.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of related construction experience is required

A Bachelor's degree in the field of Construction Management/Civil Engineering is preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office, experience in Spectrum Construction Software is a plus

Previous heavy construction, asphalt, wet/dry utility industry experience is required

Possesses critical thinking skills
