POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an energized, self-motivated Territory Sales Representative who thrives on building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and closing deals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys travel, is comfortable working independently, and is fueled by the thrill of the sale. The Territory Sales Representative will focus on developing new distribution partnerships, creating contractor-level demand, and driving the growth of our Plumbing and HVAC product lines across an assigned region.
The Territory Sales Representative will focus on developing new distribution partnerships, creating contractor-level demand, and driving growth of our Plumbing and HVAC product lines across the South-Central region, including Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, and Kansas.
This is not just an account management role. We’re looking for a hunter who’s passionate about growth, skilled in relationship building, and eager to make a direct impact on revenue. The ideal candidate is proactive, goal-driven, and excited about being out in the field, meeting customers, and generating results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and develop new distributor and contractor relationships within the Plumbing and HVAC industries.
Drive contractor-level demand through product education, training, and joint calls with distribution partners.
Represent DuraPlas at trade shows, networking events, and customer visits to build pipeline and brand visibility.
Maintain territory accounts, upsell and cross-sell products, and act as the primary point of contact for sales-related needs.
Use CRM tools to manage opportunities, document activity, and report weekly performance and forecasts.
Collaborate with internal teams to support product launches, customer satisfaction, and alignment with strategic goals.
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to adjust territory strategies and maximize impact.
Maintain expert-level knowledge of DuraPlas product offerings and effectively communicate technical value to customers.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
2–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in Plumbing, HVAC, or Building Materials.
Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
Experience launching or growing new product lines is a strong plus.
Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage a territory independently and prioritize multiple initiatives effectively.
