Description

Position Summary:

Caffe D’Vita, a leading manufacturer of premium dry coffee powder mixes for hot and iced beverages, is seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations. This role will be responsible for managing key functional areas including Production, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, and Shipping & Receiving. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and a track record of driving operational excellence in a food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management

Lead daily operations of dry mix production lines to meet output, safety, and quality standards.

Partner with R&D and Sales to align production schedules with demand forecasts and product launches.

Continuously assess and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, consistency, and scalability.

Quality Assurance

Ensure all products meet food safety standards (e.g., FDA, GMP) and internal quality expectations.

Supervise QA team in maintaining documentation, traceability, and routine inspections.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.

Purchasing

Manage sourcing and procurement of raw ingredients, packaging, and operational supplies.

Maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.

Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to reduce waste and overstocking.

Shipping & Receiving

Oversee logistics of inbound materials and outbound finished goods.

Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, both domestic and international.

Work with carriers and third-party logistics providers to optimize freight performance and cost.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.

5+ years of operations or plant management experience in a food, beverage, or powder manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated experience managing multiple departments and leading cross-functional teams.

Proficient in ERP systems and familiar with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Salary & Benefits:

Annual Salary Range: $110,000 – $120,000
