Insurance Analyst - Houston, TX 77077
The Insurance Analyst supports corporate insurance programs and operations by overseeing policy placement, renewal submissions, and the application process. Responsibilities include tracking and processing insurance policies and proof of insurance requests, managing claims, reviewing contractor insurance, and handling workers' compensation, auto, property, and general liability claims. This role is essential in ensuring thorough contract review and the efficient, accurate handling of all claims.
Job Duties
Manage information-flow between Company and insurance brokers for accurate and timely insurance application and submissions leading to on-time placement of all corporate insurance coverage. Manage timely receipt of accurate insurance policies following placements. Obtain and distribute auto-ID cards as needed and provide proof of insurance and certificates as requested.
Perform contract reviews for non-standard indemnity and insurance language in various contracts and business proposals, and then advise internal stakeholders regarding appropriate insurance coverages and limits, ensure they comply with company standards and regulatory requirements. Analyze potential risks associated with contracts and provide recommendations for mitigating those risks.
Work with claims adjustors for WC, auto liability, non-catastrophic property damage and general liability claims, including providing settlement recommendations. Maintain corporate General Liability Insurance "Claim-Track" for quarterly status reports and at renewal. Report accurate and timely claims numbers and documentation to management and provide regular updates.
Participate in Emergency Management Program On-Call Team to respond to operational and corporate incidents. Assist operations in responding to emergency situations by advising senior management on the status of the event and recommending business resources/needs to respond and manage incident.
Respond to Captive financial flow requests, audit questions and provide claims reports as needed.
Monitor and provide response to proposals for legislation that may impact corporate insurance program.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
2 Years of experience
ARM, CPCU, AIC or Licensed Claim Adjuster - preferred
Microsoft Office proficiency
