Systems Architect

L.J. Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Systems Architect. The candidate will be a guide member of the imaging team which is responsible for developing the shared services and development code generators that are used by all applications, including maintaining and modernizing imaging platforms. This system is responsible for processing different programs that bring in billions of dollars in revenue for local and state governments. Its solution allows the state to facilitate better decision-making, provide increased productivity for employees, improve public access, and reduce the risk of falling victim to outdated technology.

The candidate will be assisting with modernization and finding alternative options/solutions for existing imaging systems, utilizing various technologies such as AIX Shell Scripting on the UNIX platform and DB2 skills.

The candidate will also be assisting with the multi-tier architecture design and implementations, participating in all phases of the software development life cycle- requirement gathering, design, implementation, testing, and production support.

Details:

7 years of experience with government organization which includes business knowledge, technical design, development, maintenance, and end user support of complete Business-Related Processing.

7 years of experience in UNIX and AIX OS with usage of Shell Scripting and CRON TAB.

4 years of experience with IBM Content Manager on Demand application including IBM Content Manager OnDemand Administrator and Client.

7 years of experience in performance tuning applications interacting with DB2 Databases.
