Optical Test Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain test systems, processes and procedures for the characterization of integrated optoelectronic devices and LIDAR systems.

Write MATLAB/Python/LabVIEW code for test system development and for the analysis and presentation of test data.

Generate test plans and work instructions.

Write test reports.

Setup and configure test systems, execute tests and train engineers and technicians to perform tests.

Manage test technicians.

Specify and purchase lab equipment and materials required for testing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master's Degree in engineering or a related field.

3+ years of relevant electrooptical test experience, including knowledge of free space optics and optical alignment to fiber/waveguide devices.

Ability to adapt and operate under tight deadlines.

Strong communication skills.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Experience of working with LIDAR systems.
