Lead Writer and Editor

Writing/Editing/Resource production

Work closely with communications director to produce weekly teaching study questions, key points, Sermon Prep Plan content

Contribute to discussion with the content strategist on clips, quotes, and other content to extend teaching into the week

Technical and content editing of various manuals, curriculum, articles, signage, graphics, booklets, and other written content

Develop new written resources from existing video or audio resources as well as from new ideas generated for current weekend and ministry teaching

Write quarterly giving letter working closely with pastor of generosity and communications

director

Ministry and campus newsletter advisor, editing, and support

Manage volunteer editing team and contract writers

Develop a team of writers, including creating a guidelines document and training

Content Advisor

Plan and execute content for teaching series pages, Resource Library, Discipleship Stories page, and other content channels

Work closely with digital media manager to coordinate content for all channels, including social media, website

Job requirements

Produce, advise, and edit written content for ministries, departments of Grace Church.
