Job Description:

The Human Resources Generalist will perform administrative and HR functions related to the operation of the Human Resources Functions.

Responsibilities:

Conduct new employee orientations and exit interviews

Meet with employees regarding HR issues.

Serve as a liaison to the Human Resources Manager

Provide administrative support to Human Resources as needed.

Assist with timecard management and obtaining missed punch forms

Coordinate safety training for new hire with Safety Manager

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.

Ability to operate general office equipment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to maintain confidential information.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Administrative training required.

Two years of Human Resources experience preferred.

SHRM Certification highly desired but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.

Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.

Working Conditions:

Conditions inside the office is generally quiet, periodically there may be mid-level noise from various equipment when traveling to other facilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently standing, walking, and sitting.
