Full Time

Pay Rate: $18+

Hours: 1:30pm-11:00pm & 10:30pm-7:00am

We are seeking a reliable and adaptable team member whose primary assignment will be 2nd shift. However, this position requires flexibility to float to 3rd shift based on program needs and at management's discretion. While the main schedule will remain 2nd shift, employees must be willing and able to provide 3rd shift coverage as needed. Floating is not voluntary and may be assigned to ensure adequate program coverage.

Intensive Residential Services Home (IRSH) serves adults with mental health, behavioral health, intellectual

disabilities or co-occurring conditions. This is a short-term, intensive rehabilitation service

provided within the client's home. The goal of the service is to help individuals stabilize by assisting

with medication compliance, appointment compliance, comprehension, crisis planning, behavior

modification, and skill building so they can successfully reintegrate back into the community of

their choice.

First Resources Corp. will serve four adults at a time, within a house in Burlington, IA. At the house

will be designated staff office space, two company vehicles, and all the tools needed to

successfully support the clients. Each shift will be staffed with two Intensive Support Professionals

at a time.

Thorough training will be provided during your employment to excel at this position!

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• One year of experience working in mental and/or behavioral health services required.

• Previous Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience preferred.

• Computer literate with knowledge of databased programs and Microsoft Suite.

• Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds without restrictions.

• Must have a valid driver's license and personal auto insurance as required by the State of

Iowa and be insurable under the company's insurance.

• Must have reliable transportation.

• Must have access to a telephone.

• Must be able to obtain CPR/First Aide Certification within the initial 30 days of employment,

and actively maintain certification throughout employment.

• Successfully complete and pass all required competency-based training requirements

within the allowed timeframe and on-going training as due each time.
