Automation Personnel Services is looking for Firearm Assemblers for a globally recognized handgun manufacturer based in Smyrna, GA. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for performing an array of duties related to the assembly of firearms.

Pay Rate

$17.90 per hour

Schedule and Hours

2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

Firearm Assemblers’ Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble firearms and products according to company procedures on assembly line, in a team and quota-based environment.

• Build, inspect, and install subassemblies, frames, sights, and or slides.

• Extensive tool usage including hand torque drills, small punches and other various sized and shaped hand tools used to install small components into the firearms.

• Clean and inspect pistols after test firing.

• Ensure that all documentation is correct, including quantities and other records.

• Maintain the assembly work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

Firearm Assemblers’ Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• 1-3 years of handgun or small part assembly experience required.

• Experience with hand tools.

• Pay close attention to details while being organized and able to meet deadlines.

• Work part of a team and independently.

• Understand and practice safety policies and procedures.

• Drug screening and background checks are required.
