Senior Mechanical Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in the Columbus, OH area for a direct hire role. This resource will be responsible for working on all stages of the production cycles, from product improvement and design to manufacturing, installation and evaluation. You will be leading a team of two designers to help conduct tests, evaluations and improve products. Candidate will need experience with CAD technology and experience with pressure vessels or pipe coding design. You will create plans and designs utilizing CAD software and write technical documentation. You'll also analyze problems or deficiencies and develop solutions to resolve.

Skills and Requirements

-6+ years of mechanical engineering experience within pressure vessels or pipe code design

-Experience with ASME (pressure vessels)

-AutoCAD or other CAD related experience

-Experience with some of the following: air pollution, evaporative cooling, flue gas scrub, thermal oxidizer, electrostatic precipitator, fabric filter, fabric baghouse Air flow systems

10 years of experience specific to ASME

Lead teams or projects in the past

Water pump, control valves, air compressor null
