An IOT network device company located in Orange County, California is looking to hire an Embedded Engineering Manager for a full time role. They are looking for a Manager who has professional experience with C++, Linux Network Stack, Linux Netfilter, Linux Driver Development and proven success hiring and growing teams. They would like someone who has extensive experience working with network devices. You'll work on hardware systems that are globally used by millions. This role will be 5x a week in office and you'll be managing anywhere between 10-20 candidates. Their ideal Manager will have 10+ years of experience and 2+ years of management experience.
Key Responsibilities & Required Qualifications:
10+ years of professional experience in Embedded Engineering
At least 2 years of experiencing managing a team of 5+ engineers
Strong proficiency in C++, Linux Driver Development, Linux Kernel, Linux Netfilter, Broadband Protocol and Design Patterns
Experience with hiring and building teams
Excellent communication skills Compensation & Benefits:
