Pharmacy Delivery Associate

Safely and efficiently deliver prescriptions, medical supplies, and over-the-counter products to patients’ homes, healthcare facilities, or other designated locations.

Verify patient information and prescriptions before completing each delivery.

Ensure deliveries are made on time and in accordance with scheduled routes.

Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers during deliveries.

Provide customers with necessary information about medications, including instructions for use, if needed.

Assist patients with any questions regarding their orders and report any issues to the pharmacy team.

Ensure all medications and products are correctly labeled and packaged before delivery.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including addresses, customer signatures, and delivery times.

Return any undelivered items back to the pharmacy in accordance with company policy.

Follow all safety protocols while driving, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and regulations.

Safeguard patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.

Handle medications with care to prevent damage or contamination.

Maintain the delivery vehicle in clean and good working conditions.

Ensure the vehicle is stocked with necessary equipment for safe delivery, such as coolers for temperature-sensitive medications.

Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff regarding delivery schedules, customer issues, and inventory levels.

Assist with restocking medications and organizing products within the pharmacy when not performing deliveries.
