Mainframe Developer (10+ Years Experience)

Location: Onsite in St.Albans, West Virginia

Duration: Contract

Sesheng Company is supporting a key client in Charleston, West Virginia, in their ongoing technology initiatives. We are seeking experienced and dedicated Mainframe Developers to join their team on-site.

Project Overview:

The successful candidates will be responsible for the design and maintenance of complex enterprise-level COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2 environments on an IBM Mainframe.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level complex applications on the IBM Mainframe platform.

Work extensively with COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2 technologies.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Mainframe environment.

Collaborate with other development team members and stakeholders.

Participate in system analysis and design activities.

Ensure the stability and performance of Mainframe applications.

Adhere to coding standards and best practices.

Mandatory Expertise/Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in IBM Mainframe development.

Expert-level proficiency in:

COBOL

JCL

CICS

DB2

Desirable Expertise/Experience:

Previous work experience within a (DMV) environment.

Required Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Proven track record of designing and maintaining complex Mainframe systems.

Must be a genuine candidate with a strong work ethic.
