We are representing a highly respected, family-owned general contractor based in Northern Utah with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial retail construction projects across the region. Due to continued growth and a robust pipeline of work, they are seeking a Commercial Superintendent to join their dedicated team in Logan, Utah.

Position Overview:

As the Commercial Retail Superintendent, you will play a vital role in managing all on-site operations for retail construction projects—from ground-breaking to final closeout. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong field experience, scheduling expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily jobsite operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to company quality standards.

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.

Maintain safety compliance and enforce OSHA standards.

Communicate proactively with the project manager and client stakeholders.

Lead progress meetings and provide regular reporting on job status.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Commercial Superintendent—preferably in retail or fast-track construction.

Strong knowledge of construction schedules, budgets, safety, and quality control.

Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Willingness to travel regionally as needed.
