Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Assist in the preparation and presentation of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and analyses to support strategic decision-making.
Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets and forecasts to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing insights that contribute to the organization's financial health.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Maintain a monthly accounting close process, preparing timely internal financial statements and the actualization of company projections.
Accounting Operations Management:
Assist in managing daily financial operations, including cash flow management, short/long term investments, accounts payable and receivable.
Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, confirming accurate recording of financial transactions, ensuring compliance, and adherence to internal controls.
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to ensure the integrity of financial data.
Stay updated on financial regulations and accounting standards, ensuring the organization's compliance with relevant laws and guidelines.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Provide financial insights and conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and research to support decision-making across the organization.
Participate in special projects and initiatives, such as process improvements, system implementations, and cost-saving measures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting.
Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., GL systems, Excel, financial modeling).
