What You'll Be Doing:
Dive deep into the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) Wi-Fi stack to troubleshoot, optimize, and improve wireless connectivity
Develop and enhance Google Cast capabilities within Android platforms
Work above the kernel/driver layer to solve middleware and application-level networking challenges
Debug Wi-Fi issues using industry-standard tools (e.g., Wireshark) and optimize connectivity performance
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on system integration, testing, and product enhancements
What We're Looking For:
10+ years of Android development experience with a strong focus on Wi-Fi networking and AOSP
Expertise in C++, Java, or Kotlin programming
Experience working with Google Cast technologies (or similar media casting standards like DLNA, Miracast)
In-depth knowledge of wireless protocols and security standards (WPA2, WPA3)
Strong troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience using network diagnostic tools
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
