A $60M+ privately held Atlanta-based, global engineering, manufacturing/fabrication, and supply chain management business with plans to grow both organically and acquisitively is looking for an energetic, hands-on, tech-savvy operational CFO with experience in growing companies in both top-line revenue and bottom-line profit. This is an in-office position.
This person will be a critical member of the senior leadership team supporting the CEO, President, and Executive VP of the company and will have hands-on responsibility for managing the entire financial function, along with the legal, insurance, human resources, compliance, and other critical support functions.
Compensation is comprised of base salary + bonus + upside incentive.
Key or Required Candidate Qualifications and Qualities include:
Multiple successful years as CFO in global manufacturing and distribution; engineered industrial metal products experience a plus
Inventory management experience. Understands how inventory financing and inventory management affect the balance sheet and value of the firm.
Extensive business operations experience, particularly in global supply chain and foreign operating business lines, that includes transfer pricing.
Experience with not only owning accounting, finance, and tax functions, but also overseeing other administrative functions (HR, IT, legal).
Operational accounting and cost experience; able to close the books if needed.
Experience in streamlining, automating, and implementing processes.
Experience in a PE-owned or similarly managed financial/metric-driven business.
CPA or CMA (active or inactive) – preferred.
Big 4 or large regional audit experience – a plus.
Systems-oriented, tech-savvy, and data-driven.
Operationally oriented with a strategic mindset.
