DevOps Engineer

This is an onsite, contract position in Springfield, VA that requires an active TS SCI clearance.

This position supports a services & solutions business area to provide high-quality, cost-effective solutions to the client. As part of the team the DevOps Engineer's expertise is needed to support a sophisticated enterprise environment. The engineer will be an active participant in SAFe and Scrum development teams and meetings.

Required Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI (CI poly preferred or willingness to obtain)

8+ years IT experience with a Bachelor’s (or equivalent)

Strong DevOps background: CI/CD, automation, scripting, GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD

Experience with containers: Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift

Monitoring tools: Kibana, Grafana, or Nagios

Scripting skills: Python, Bash, or Shell

On-prem or hybrid cloud deployment experience

Experience with Jira/Confluence

Excellent troubleshooting & time management skills

US citizenship

Desired Qualifications:

Experience using Helm to deploy to Kubernetes via GitLab

Familiarity with IAM, S3, VPN, SSH and access management

Familiarity with unit/functional testing

Knowledge of microservice architecture and infrastructure security best practices
