Experience of the Right Candidate:
7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience (healthcare preferred).
Deep expertise in managed network services (Router, Switch, BGP, QoS, VoIP).
Strong cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, or private cloud models).
Hands-on knowledge of datacenter technologies like OTV and VXLAN.
Strong leadership, project management, and cross-team collaboration skills.
Active CCNP certification with at least one other active certification (CWNA, CCIE, CISSP, etc).
Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:
Architect, design, and build highly redundant and fault-tolerant network solutions.
Lead large-scale wireless and infrastructure projects independently and across teams.
Develop and maintain two-year upgrade and enhancement roadmaps.
Perform network maintenance activities including IOS upgrades and security patching.
Lead root-cause analysis and After Action Reviews (AAR) on major incidents.
Collaborate with Security Operations to ensure full network security compliance.
Plan, design, and implement security-focused network architectures and solutions.
Guide and mentor junior team members and assume leadership roles as needed.
Drive continuous improvement by automating network monitoring, patching, and configuration management processes.
Champion the use of testing automation and new technologies across IS teams.
Develop metrics and reporting to proactively identify and prevent network issues.
Drive communication and consensus building across departments and leadership.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to address recurring quality or compliance issues.
Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation for critical infrastructure operations.
