Salary Range: $93,000–$115,000

We’re looking for an experienced FSQA Manager to lead food safety and quality initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving continuous improvement across our operations.
What You’ll Do:
Champion food safety and quality assurance (FSQA) strategies, programs, and culture across the bakery.
Drive performance through KPIs in microbiology, foreign material control, regulatory compliance, and food safety plans.
Lead and develop a high-performing FSQA team, including performance reviews, coaching, and ongoing training.
Oversee GMPs, HARPC, AIMS, and maintain documentation through the ETQ platform.
Provide training on food safety and hygiene for bakery and central service teams.
Conduct and review root cause analyses for non-conformances and customer complaints.
Support third-party and regulatory audits, customer visits, and GFSI (e.g., BRC) recertification efforts.
Evaluate and implement preventive controls for physical, chemical, biological, and allergen hazards.
Maintain oversight of traceability and recall programs.
Support new product development with robust quality and inspection controls.
Perform FSQA compliance assessments in bakeries and distribution centers.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in food processing, food safety, and quality—preferably in bakery or manufacturing.
HACCP certification required; BRC or SQF certification preferred.
Knowledge of GFSI standards and USDA/FDA regulatory environments.
Expertise in microbiology, environmental monitoring, cGMPs, and hygienic zoning.
Strong analytical, documentation, and root cause analysis skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, statistical tools, and SAP applications.
