Electrical Engineer – Manufacturing Automation Up to $120K

This Shelbyville Manufacturing company is looking to Direct Hire a talented Electrical Engineer to lead automation projects, optimize manufacturing processes, and keep production running smoothly. What You'll Do:

• Maintain and troubleshoot automation systems (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, middleware, SQL).

• Modify and test manufacturing process equipment—collaborate with vendors for solutions.

• Work with automation instrumentation (servo drives, variable frequency drives, barcode/RFID readers, I/O).

• Develop systems solutions alongside the IS team.

• Ensure seamless data collection and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

• Strong foundation in electrical engineering and automation.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or automation engineering technology or equivalent.

• 5-7 years of experience in Industrial Electricity and controls.

• A full understanding of analog, digital, and logic circuits.

• Experience in installing and troubleshooting PLCs, variable frequency drives, and power distribution systems.

• Experience with PLC programming, HMI, OPC, and SCADA Systems.

• Capable of installing and commissioning new or retrofitted automated equipment and able to modify and write PLC logic.

• Knowledge of integrated controls and familiarity with communication platforms
