React/Node.js Developer

Job Title: Software Engineer

Pay rate: $58- $62 per hour

Duration: Until Oct-2026

W2 contract only (No C2C)

Location- Urbandale, IA, 50322

Position will likely start onsite and move to remote assuming candidate proves acceptable progress.

Position is highly likely to extend

Web application development with React and Node.js.

Job Description:

Develops web applications in the John Deere Operations Center, primarily using Java Script and React

Works with a team of developers to implement, test, and support features in a production environment

Collaborates with Product Managers, User Experience, and other support roles to discover and define product requirements

Follows industry-standard agile software design methodology and techniques

Required Skills:

Strong experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Node JS

Experience with using and designing REST APIs

Experience with Test Driven Development, test automation, CI/CD

Strong communication and collaboration skills within a cross functional team

Understanding of Agile and XP practices

Knowledge of Typescript
