Desktop Support Specialist
Location: Hershey, PA
Full time engagement, 40 hours per week, 6 month project
CDW is adding to our Desktop Support team in Hershey, PA! We seek a motivated and customer-focused Desktop Engineer to join our team for a 6 month deployment project. This role is dedicated to the deployment and support of end-user devices. The ideal candidate will have strong hardware setup and troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work with urgency and independence.
Responsibilities:
Perform analytical, technical, and administrative work related to the planning, installation, and maintenance of approved end-user devices
Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware including laptops, desktops, scanners, printers, and mobile devices
Participate in end-user device deployments, upgrades, and relocation projects
Conduct on-site troubleshooting and warranty repairs
Understand and apply networking and communication protocols
Maintain accurate documentation and report issues according to established policies and procedures
Requirements:
2 years of experience in hardware setup and troubleshooting
Strong imaging and deployment background
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
