Software Tester

Hansen Talent Group is seeking an eager software tester to join a great team based in Columbia, SC. This team is supporting enterprise development through in-depth QA efforts. The ideal candidate is able to work 100% onsite and has in-depth experience with manual testing.

The Software Tester is responsible for executing tests and tracking defects to support the delivery of client applications.

Duties:

Write test plans and developing test matrices for software functionality

Responsible for defects management and reporting

Coordinate with customer and development teams for testing requirements and debugging

Providing Testing Status and progress updates to ensure code meets production

Collaborate with team members and management for other area specific needs / tasks such as documentation and training.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

Manual testing experience

Willing to work 100% onsite when required

Preferred: Mainframe applications
