Position Overview:
The IT Support Technician I provides technical support to faculty, staff, students, and departments, focusing on basic hardware and software maintenance. Helpdesk/Call Center roles involve answering calls, offering remote support, and performing tasks similar to the desktop support team, with equal access.
Required Skills:
1-3 years of professional experience providing hands on support
Experience working with ticketing systems – ServiceNow is what they use (Salesforce, ZenDesk, or any other home grown system)
Experience with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, excel, etc.)
Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT, or other related area OR a combination of related education and/or experience.
