Software Engineer

We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop, test, and support industrial automation systems. This role involves programming, system integration, on-site commissioning, and ongoing support. The position requires travel within North America and some on-call availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, program, and deploy Warehouse Control Systems (WCS)

Perform software testing and on-site commissioning

Provide technical support and troubleshoot live systems

Address escalated support issues and conduct root cause analysis

Maintain system documentation and assist in user and team training

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

5+ years of experience in software or automation development

Proficiency in Java, Python, C, and Progress 4GL (OpenEdge ABL)

Experience working with Unix environments and relational databases

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Willingness to travel and participate in on-call rotations

Fluent in English
