Data Center Site Manager

Metric Geo are partnered with leading provider of AI and High-Performance Computing (HPC) data center solutions is expanding into the U.S., and we're looking for a Data Center Site Manager to lead operations at their flagship U.S. facility in Pittsburgh.

This is a unique opportunity to join early and play a key role in scaling U.S. operations for a company that is rapidly growing across North America.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations of a standalone Tier III-level data center facility

Manage all critical infrastructure systems (electrical, mechanical, security, etc.)

Oversee vendor and contractor management for maintenance and upgrades

Ensure facility uptime, compliance, and operational excellence

Manage on-site staff and support recruiting for local operations teams

Coordinate with design, construction, and commissioning teams for future U.S. expansion projects

Act as the primary on-site point of contact for client tours and stakeholder engagement

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in data center operations, critical facilities, or infrastructure management

Strong understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems and facility operations

Experience managing vendors, maintenance, and incident response

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment supporting AI, HPC, or cloud workloads

Leadership experience — able to mentor teams and build operations culture from the ground up

Strong communication skills for both internal teams and client-facing activities
