Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Job Description: A leading middle-market Pittsburgh law firm seeks a skilled Paralegal with 5+ years of experience in defense litigation, ideally with experience preparing medical summaries in the personal injury, product liability or medical malpractice areas.

Benefits:

Salary: $60,000-$80,000

Responsibilities:

Manage case lifecycle and monitor progress.

Order, follow up, and summarize records (medical, employment, etc.).

Prepare legal documents (motions, pleadings, subpoenas).

Assist with discovery requests and eDiscovery document reviews.

Organize factual data in multi-district litigation.

Prepare for depositions and trials and summarize depositions

Compile and analyze information for reports and exhibits.

Prepare case materials and coordinate witnesses.

File pleadings electronically in state and federal courts.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in complex litigation support.

Paralegal Certificate preferred.

Knowledge of county, state, and federal courts.

Experience in defense litigation, preferably personal injury or med mal

Qualifications:

Paralegal certification from approved ABA program is preferred

Experience in defense litigation, preferably personal injury or med mal

Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently

Experience with Discovery Point, Case Notebook, and Relativity, iManage and Prolaw a plus
