ROLE: S AP Solution/Integration Architect

WORK LOCATION: 100% Remote. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Two Northshore Center)

DURATION: 4 months+ (potential for extension)

START: 05/12/2025

DETAILS

Seeking an SAP Solution/Integration Architect to lead the integration of BTP solutions with SAP ECC, focusing on SAP build code, APIs, cloud connectors, PostgreSQL, authentication,

authorization, data encryption, and compliance requirements. This role requires strong communication skills to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as the ability to influence decision-making among business users, IT managers, and executives.

The architect will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand financial accounting and controlling needs, design and deploy SAP FICO solutions, and manage integrations with third-

party systems. Hands-on expertise in SAP FI/CO, SAP integration technologies (EDI, PI/PO, API,SAP Cloud), and experience with system configuration are essential, with S/4HANA experience and

SAP certification is considered a plus. The position is entirely remote, operating on Eastern Time hours based out of Pittsburgh, PA.

1) As an architect, integration of BTP solutions with SAP ECC, focusing on SAP build code, API, cloud connector, PostgreSQL, authentication, authorization, data encryption, compliance requirements, SAP’s integration strategy, and best practices around SAP’s Integration .

2) Experience communicating complex tech concepts to technical & non-technical audiences

3) Present architectural designs and recommendations to stakeholders (Business users, IT Managers, and Executives)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Possess a deep understanding of integrating BTP solutions with SAP ECC, focusing on SAP build code, API, cloud connector, PostgreSQL, authentication, authorization, data encryption and compliance requirements, including SAP’s integration strategy and best practices.

• Clearly and concisely communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Present architectural designs and recommendations to stakeholders, including business users, IT managers, and executives.

• Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather requirements and validate architectural designs.

• Influence decision-making by providing clear and compelling arguments for different architectural options.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand the organization’s financial accounting and controlling needs.

• Design, implement, and deploy SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals.

• Ensure efficient and reliable operation of the SAP FICO system.

• Solution and build integrations between SAP and required connected third-party systems.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on SAP FICO, providing guidance and support to users and team members.

• Work closely with the project management team to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.

• Engage with various stakeholders to ensure successful SAP FICO solution implementations.

• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.

• Balance technical requirements with business needs and constraints.

• Guide team members on every functional and technical aspect.
