The UX Designer is responsible for creating intuitive, user-centric experiences across web and mobile platforms throughout the online shopping journey. This role involves conducting user research to understand customer personas, and designing visually compelling, branded, and functional interfaces. The UX Designer develops both low- and high-fidelity prototypes and collaborates cross-functionally as part of a product development team.
Key Responsibilities
Design seamless and engaging user experiences from concept through implementation.
Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and customer service teams to deliver user-first, brand-aligned solutions.
Conduct user research and usability testing to understand behaviors and validate designs.
Develop and maintain a scalable information architecture and reusable design system.
Additional Duties
Perform market research and user interviews to identify user needs and pain points.
Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and best practices.
Create polished visual designs consistent with brand guidelines.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Demos, and Standups.
Perform Visual Quality Assurance (VQA) testing on completed work.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve design processes and user outcomes.
Stay current on UX/UI trends and e-commerce design best practices.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
5+ years of UX design experience, ideally in e-commerce or a consumer-facing digital environment.
Skilled in user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design.
Proficient with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present and defend design decisions.
Analytical, detail-oriented, and technically savvy.
Familiar with accessibility standards and compliance.
Experience with project management tools and Agile methodologies.
Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 8–10 years of equivalent work experience.
