Oracle Cloud Procurement Functional Lead
Job Type: Full-Time Location: Hybrid (Dallas, TX)
Optomi, in partnership with one of our premier clients, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Cloud Procurement Functional Lead to manage and enhance our Oracle Procurement applications and drive service excellence. This role will act as the primary liaison between business process owners and IT teams, ensuring the Procurement track operates smoothly, incidents are resolved effectively, and new enhancements are prioritized and delivered with business alignment.
The ideal candidate will bring deep functional knowledge across Oracle Cloud Procurement modules, excellent troubleshooting skills, strong stakeholder communication abilities, and a passion for optimizing system functionality.

Experience of the Right Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Procurement Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
5+ years of Oracle Cloud Procurement hands-on experience, including configuration and triage/problem resolution.
Deep understanding of Procurement business processes and Oracle Procurement modules (Purchasing, Self-Service Procurement, Supplier Management, Inventory, OTM, Demand/Supply Planning, and Maintenance).
Experience working within a structured incident, problem, and change management framework.
Oracle Cloud Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain.
Prior experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience managing Oracle SRs and vendor escalations.
Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:
Manage all activities within the Procurement track, including incident triage, problem resolution, and enhancement prioritization.
Provide hands-on configuration and functional support across Oracle Cloud modules including Purchasing, Self-Service Procurement, Supplier Management (Sourcing, Agreements), Inventory Management, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, OTM, and Maintenance.
Act as the primary liaison to Business Process Owners and business users, participating actively in daily stand-up meetings and regular business discussions.
Collect, clarify, and analyze business requirements to support incident resolution and enhancement requests.
Triage and resolve high-priority functional tickets, coordinating with users as necessary for additional details.
Track and manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs) specific to the Procurement track, escalating issues where necessary.
Collaborate with business users to prioritize new enhancements based on business value and system readiness.
Conduct impact analyses for Oracle Cloud quarterly releases and coordinate required updates for the Procurement modules.
Monitor and manage service levels (SLAs) for the Procurement track.
Communicate risks or delays to business users and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and timely mitigation.
Maintain documentation of configurations, business processes, and resolution procedures.
Ensure that the Procurement track remains compliant with internal governance and change control processes.
