Position: Business Development Executive
Location: Inland Empire, CA (with regional travel)
Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 base + $5,000–$10,000 annual bonus

Position Overview
We’re seeking a Business Development Executive to join our team and help strengthen existing client relationships while identifying and cultivating new opportunities across the Inland Empire and surrounding areas. This role leans heavily toward account management and client engagement, while still requiring a strategic approach to uncovering and securing new work.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, architects, developers, consultants, and industry partners.
Attend local and regional trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to represent the company.
Identify and track potential new project opportunities aligned with our verticals and capabilities.
Work closely with preconstruction, marketing, and executive teams to align BD efforts with operational capacity and market trends.
Support proposal generation, presentations, and RFQ/RFP responses with strategic insights and client knowledge.
Maintain CRM records, sales reports, and BD activity logs for executive review.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in business development, client relations, or account management within the construction industry (GC or related AEC firm preferred).
Deep understanding of the Inland Empire construction market and strong existing network.
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Proven track record of maintaining and growing strategic accounts.
Ability to balance client-facing time with internal collaboration.
Comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple client relationships.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

Competitive base salary of $120,000 – $150,000 DOE

The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle. They should be confident with building new client relationship and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
4+ years working with a construction company preferably a GC.
Bachelor's degree 3+ years in sales industry
Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing Demonstrated sales success
Strong negotiation skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
CRM experience is preferred
