Java AWS Developer

Job Title: Java AWS FullStack Developer - W2 Only - Can provide sponsorship

Location: Westlake, TX - Hybrid

Duration: Long Term

Must haves:

Manager is wanting strong AWS Cloud experience & ability to complete coding challenge

• Strong Java SDK 8/11/17

• Cloud, AWS [EC2,IAM,Glue,EMR,S3, KMS, SQS,SNS,EMR etc]

• Spring boot /Micronaut/Dropwizard

• Microservices, JPA

• Spring data

• HTTP and REST

• Async programming(JMS or Rabbit MQ or Active MQ or Kafka)

• Cloud, AWS [EC2,IAM,Glue,EMR,S3, KMS, SQS,SNS,EMR etc]

• Monitoring tools: Splunk / Datadog/Grafana/Promethesus – or similar alternatives

AWS-Heavly used

API-Springboot

Java- Heavy on Java experience

Batch processing type of jobs

Strong experience building java systems

CI/CD Experience

Technical Skills

8+ years of software engineering experience

Strong skills with Java 8+, Web application frameworks such as Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.

Familiarity with AWS Toolsets, including but not limited to SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, Kinesis, Cloudformation

Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and documenting customer facing RESTful APIs

Demonstrable ability to read high-level business requirements and drive clarifying questions.

Demonstrable ability to engage in self-paced continuous learning to upskill, with the collaboration of engineering leaders.

Demonstrable ability to manage your own time and prioritize how you spend your time most effectively.

Strong skills with the full lifecycle of development, from analysis to installed into production.
