Role: Senior Director Global Process (Record to Report)
Duration: Contract to Hire (preferred) -Potentially open to perm
Pay Rate: $85/hr-$90/hr
Location: NYC
Hybrid - onsite 3 days a week
Overview:
We're looking for a Global Process Owner (GPO) for Record to Report (R2R) to lead the global transformation of our R2R processes. This includes driving improvements, ensuring strong controls, and implementing systems like SAP S/4HANA and Blackline. This is a key leadership role during a major systems transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Transformation & Technology
Lead R2R transformation as part of the SAP S/4HANA migration.
Oversee design elements like Chart of Accounts, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Reporting, etc.
Drive and expand usage of Blackline automation tools.
Continuous Improvement
Identify and prioritize process improvements.
Bring in best practices and modern solutions.
Controls & Compliance
Work with Risk & Compliance to ensure a strong control environment.
Align with SOX and US GAAP requirements.
Policies & Procedures
Support creation of operational policies and accurate work procedures.
Provide input on technical accounting policies.
Process & Master Data
Set up strong master data governance across R2R.
Ensure end-to-end process is efficient and scalable.
People & Collaboration
Lead a global team, including BPO partner Accenture.
Work closely with R2R Ops VP to align strategy and execution.
Performance Management
Set key metrics, service levels, and performance targets.
BPO Oversight
Guide and support the onshore team in managing BPO relationships.
2025 Focus Areas:
Lead the 2025 R2R Transformation Roadmap.
Contribute to global SAP S/4HANA template design.
Expand Blackline Hyper Automation usage.
Strengthen the R2R Center of Excellence.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (CPA or international equivalent).
10+ years in R2R roles, with leadership experience in shared services and BPO.
US GAAP and SOX knowledge, with audit background.
Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA and Blackline.
Preferred:
Experience in Media & Entertainment (a plus).
Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.
Ability to work across global teams and time zones.
