Electrical Engineer Project Manager (MEP)

What You'll Do

Design and manage electrical engineering projects, ensuring successful execution from concept to completion.

Design and develop electrical systems using Autodesk Revit and Autodesk AutoCAD.

Design building and site; power, photovoltaic, enginery storage and lighting systems.

Prepare and review project specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards

Perform load calculations, circuiting, and short-circuit analysis using industry-standard software.

Ensure compliance with California energy codes (Title 24) and other applicable regulations.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

Manage working time on each project to deliver project documents on scheduled milestone deadlines.

Ensure projects meet regulatory requirements.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and project team members.

Maintain open communication with stakeholders and facilitate a collaborative work environment.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field.

Minimum of 7 years of electrical engineering experience in the MEP industry.

EIT or PE certification or equivalent industry experience.

Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.

Proficiency in SKM, ETAP. (Power system analysis, load calculations, short-circuit analysis, arc flash studies)

Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu.

Proficiency in ComCheck, Energy Pro, or other energy code compliance tools.

Basic understanding of Lighting Calculation Software.

Experience developing and reviewing project specifications.

Knowledge of federal and military projects (UFCs and UFGS) is a plus.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
