We are seeking a strategic and results-driven IT leader to oversee solution delivery across all areas supporting our retail operations. This role plays a critical part in delivering impactful platforms and services, aligning IT initiatives with business goals, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead IT solution delivery for core retail business functions, including Planning & Merchandising, Allocation, Inventory Management, Point of Sale, Distribution, and Shared Services (Finance & HR).
Drive the implementation of platforms and capabilities that add measurable value to the organization and enhance the customer experience.
Transform application delivery teams into a high-performing unit by fostering collaboration, improving operational efficiency, and maximizing talent.
Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and investment decisions.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in delivering IT solutions and services.
Identify, evaluate, and recommend technology solutions that meet business needs and deliver long-term value.
Lead impact analyses covering resource requirements, timelines, cost, and delivery capabilities in collaboration with internal teams and business leaders.
Define key capability requirements and develop strategic plans to achieve them.
Collaborate across IT teams to ensure solution delivery aligns with the overall IT strategy and organizational goals.
Oversee the development, enhancement, and support of the company’s application portfolio.
Manage internal client relationships, ensuring seamless coordination of initiatives and service delivery.
Develop business cases and ROI plans, while identifying strategies to reduce operational risk and costs.
Lead budgeting and resource planning processes.
Ensure adherence to IT security and compliance policies.
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate third-party communication for all applications.
Provide regular progress and performance updates to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
7 plus years of experience in the retail industry, with a focus on leading application development and solution delivery teams.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive results, manage complexity, and lead teams through change.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a business-focused mindset.
