About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Teradata Developer to join our dynamic team, where you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehouse solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust data warehouse solutions using Teradata.

Utilize BTEQ scripting for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

Implement Unix shell scripting to automate routine tasks and improve data processing efficiencies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business requirements.

Perform performance tuning and optimization of Teradata databases to enhance system efficiency.

Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Document database designs, technical specifications, and processes for future reference.

Must Haves:

8+ years of experience in Teradata development and data warehousing.

Strong skills in data sourcing, data modeling, and data provisioning.

Proven experience in performance tuning and optimization of Teradata databases.

Proficiency in BTEQ scripting for ETL processes.

Experience with Unix shell scripting to automate and streamline data operations.

Plusses:

Experience with job scheduling tools like Autosys is highly desirable.

Familiarity with Informatica or other ETL tools will be considered a plus.
