Marketing Operations Manager

Location: Must be local to Columbus. This is a remote position with occasional hybrid work.

About the RoleAs the Marketing Operations Manager, you’ll oversee the successful execution of our client marketing campaigns and internal projects. You’ll bridge the gap between creative execution, technical delivery, and operational management — making sure teams hit deadlines, campaigns perform, and clients stay thrilled.

You’ll be responsible for both the planning and orchestration of marketing work across PPC, SEO, Social, Web, and CRM projects.

This is a management role — not a hands-on campaign builder — but strong marketing knowledge is essential.

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day operations across all client accounts and internal marketing projects.

Build and manage project plans, timelines, and resource assignments.

Lead internal team meetings to drive accountability and task ownership.

Monitor project scopes, budgets, and deliverables to ensure they stay on track and profitable.

Assist in onboarding new clients by coordinating kickoff meetings, gathering assets, and setting project expectations.

Ensure quality standards are met across deliverables before client delivery.

Develop and maintain internal processes, SOPs, templates, and checklists for project workflows.

Track client KPIs and work closely with account managers to prepare monthly reports.

Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.

Collaborate with the leadership team on resource planning, capacity management, and forecasting.

Skills and Qualifications5+ years experience in digital marketing operations, project management, or client delivery.

Strong understanding of PPC, SEO, social media, website development, and marketing automation (you don’t need to build campaigns, but you must understand how they work).

Excellent project management skills (ClickUp, Monday.com, Asana, or similar).

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Experience building processes, playbooks, and improving team workflows.

High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.

Solid communication skills (both internal and client-facing).

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in Google Workspace and marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, GHL, WordPress preferred).
