After launching in New York dispensaries in March 2025, Layup is launching in Ohio through traditional retail channels. We're building a standout brand — and we’re looking for elite sales talent to join the starting lineup.
About the Role
We’re hiring a high-energy Territory Sales Representative to lead Layup’s growth in the Ohio market. You’ll be on the front lines building relationships with dispensaries and beverage distributors, driving sell-in and sell-through, executing local events, and growing Layup’s presence across the state.

What You'll Do
Own and grow sales across the state of Ohio
Manage and support relationship with our distribution partner
Build relationship and maintain with retail buyers
Execute store visits, product demos, and in-store activations
Collaborate with marketing on local events, influencer activations, and sampling initiatives
Monitor and report on account performance, market feedback, and competitive activity
Hit and exceed sales targets, with the potential to grow into a leadership role as the brand expands
What We're Looking For
4+ years of field sales experience, preferably in beverage, CPG, or alcohol
Strong understanding of the New Jersey beverage market
Self-starter with a competitive drive, excellent communication skills, and a natural knack for selling
Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment and excited about building something from the ground up
Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel locally

$70,000 base salary + Commission + Stock Options
On-Target Earnings of $100,000–$150,000

WORKING CONDITIONS, PHYSICAL EFFORT, AND BENEFITS:
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
Work occasionally involves passing through areas that include dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures (hot and cold), humidity, darkness, and noise.
Ability to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) such as hair net, earplugs, beard net (if applicable), protective gloves, safety harness, safety glasses and slip resistant work shoes/boots. Personal protective equipment, as defined by Cirona Labs, will be provided.
Position requires the ability to stand; sit at a desk; walk around office and facility; lifting and carrying packages, utilizing fine dexterity; and reaching, kneeling, crawling, and twisting.
Work location is hybrid.

Works in other areas of the facility, performing tasks outside of the scope of the primary job functions as needed.
