Job Title: Legal Administrative Assistant
Location: Columbus, OH; Indianapolis, IN
Salary: $25 - $26/hour
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Legal Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in the legal industry. You will work closely with attorneys and paralegals across multiple practice groups, providing vital administrative support while developing the skills needed to grow your legal career.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with time entry and tracking using Timesheet, iTimekeep, and SpeechLive
Support engagement letter and new matter creation in InTapp
Perform document processing, grammar checks, and formatting in Microsoft Word
Manage and organize legal files and correspondence using iManage and document templates
Prepare and edit letters, memos, and legal documents
Coordinate and communicate with legal professionals across various practice groups
Utilize Microsoft Outlook for scheduling, email communication, and calendar management
Maintain a high level of professionalism and client service in all interactions
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Familiarity with legal software such as Timesheet, iTimekeep, SpeechLive, iManage, and InTapp is a plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Professional demeanor with a willingness to learn and grow
