Job Title: Data Governance Analyst

Employment Type: Contract, 6 months

Contract Rate: $23.00-$26.00/hr. with a strong potential to convert to FTE

Workplace Type: Hybrid Tuesday-Thursday in office

Location: Pittsburg, PA 15219

Job Summary: Join our dynamic team as a Data Governance Analyst, where you'll play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our master data. You'll be at the forefront of enforcing data policies and processes, ensuring the integrity of customer, supplier, and product data. Collaborate with business owners and the data management team to troubleshoot and resolve data issues, driving our business forward with accurate and reliable data.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management: Monitor, validate, and execute data creation and change requests in our data hub with precision and efficiency.

Issue Resolution: Identify and analyze master data exceptions, working closely with the master data steward to resolve them.

Quality Audits: Conduct data quality audits, compile issues, and collaborate with the business to take corrective actions.

Data Analysis: Perform statistical and relational analysis on large data sets to identify and correct inconsistencies.

Data Cleansing: Execute data cleansing, enrichment, and testing cycles for ERP upgrades and projects.

Process Improvement: Participate in governance projects to identify and implement process improvements, enhancing efficiency.

Standards Enforcement: Enforce data standards to maintain data cleanliness and integrity.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Email) and Oracle ERP. Experience with data handling and manipulation is preferred.

Domain Knowledge: Understanding of data domains and business operations, with 1-2 years of experience preferred.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Technology or Business is preferred.

Soft Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solution-oriented mindset.

Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Adaptability: Willingness to accommodate temporary changes in working hours as required by workflow and deadlines.

Leadership: Ability to work effectively with all levels of management to achieve goals and objectives. Knowledge of project planning and LEAN process improvement is a plus.
