Senior Fund Accountant - Top Tier Investment Firm

Their team manages a diverse portfolio across private equity, real assets, and alternative investments. They are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Fund Accountant with hands-on Investran experience to join their finance team.

Role Overview:

The Fund Accountant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and reporting for a portfolio of investment funds. This position requires a strong understanding of fund structures, capital activity, and investment accounting, with particular emphasis on working within the Investran platform.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for private funds.

Record and reconcile capital calls, distributions, management fees, and carried interest.

Maintain general ledger and investor allocations in Investran.

Collaborate with fund administrators, auditors, and internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Assist with annual audits, tax reporting, and regulatory filings.

Support performance reporting and investor reporting processes.

Drive process improvements and help optimize use of Investran functionalities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or progress toward CPA a plus).

1-5 years of fund accounting experience, ideally within private equity, venture capital, or alternative investments.

Strong proficiency in Investran is required.

Solid understanding of partnership accounting and fund structures.

Advanced Excel skills; experience with additional reporting tools is a plus.

High attention to detail, strong analytical mindset, and excellent organizational skills.
