Location: Phoenix, AZ

Salary: $110,000 - $140,000, based on experience

Status: Full-Time Monday–Friday Occasional overtime as needed

Travel: Required to regional branch offices and project sites

Overview:

Great Basin Staffing LLC is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support commercial HVAC, plumbing, and process piping projects. This position is ideal for a candidate early in their construction management career who is eager to grow. The Project Engineer will assist Project Managers with coordination, documentation, procurement, and scheduling tasks to help deliver large-scale MEP projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with procurement tracking, labor coordination, and schedule updates

Prepare RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, and other project documentation

Support field operations and help resolve technical or installation issues

Participate in project kickoff, progress, and OAC meetings

Maintain communication with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams

Track job progress, costs, materials, and deliveries

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Mechanical preferred)

3–5 years of experience in mechanical construction or a combination of education and field experience

Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and specifications

Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools a plus)

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
