Data Governance - Collibra- Ataccama

Capgemini I&D is seeking a local USA Data Governance and Protection Engineer. This role will focus on enhancing the integration between Ataccama (a data protection tool) and Collibra (a data governance tool), with an emphasis on metadata discovery and large-scale data scanning. The position requires thought leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration to build integrations, influence design, and ensure seamless data governance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership in integrating Ataccama API workflows with Collibra for efficient, scalable metadata sourcing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure real-time integration between Ataccama and Collibra.

Provide actionable feedback to product owners, architects, and development teams to create cohesive, non-fragmented solutions.

Lead in-depth analyses of complex technical issues, identifying root causes and providing practical solutions.

Standardize and improve data protection and governance processes to ensure smooth automation and operations.

Required Skills:

Extensive experience in Data Management (DM) analysis, design, and development (10+ years).

Expertise in SQL, Java/Eclipse, and Microservices (5+ years).

Advanced knowledge of API integrations, particularly with Ataccama and Collibra.
