Our client a well known Financial services firm is seeking an HR Project Manager in their New York, New York Location!
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Lead HR Project Planning & Execution
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans across HR workstreams. Track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
Serve as Central Point of Contact
Act as the primary liaison between HR and Operations project leads, ensuring timely follow-up with the appropriate HR partners when needed.
Coordinate Cross-Functional Collaboration
Align efforts across key business stakeholders (e.g., Communications, Operations, Training, Business Leads) and HR Centers of Excellence (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Total Rewards, HR Business Partners, HR Managers) to drive program success.
Support Data & Financial Integration
Manage HR-related data (e.g., headcount tracking) and partner with Finance leads to support business case development and validation.
Own Program Documentation & Materials
Maintain a comprehensive program library, including materials such as role descriptions, onboarding and dual run plans, assessment tools, and training guides.
Drive Change Management & Communication
Collaborate with Operations leads, Business Leads, and Communications to manage change initiatives and ensure clear, consistent engagement across stakeholders.
Report to Leadership
Provide regular updates to the HR Leader on project progress, challenges, and key outcomes.
Champion Continuous Improvement
Promote a culture of learning by gathering feedback and suggesting process enhancements and best practices.
What You Bring:
5–10 years of project management experience, preferably in large-scale HR or business transformation programs
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently
High level of integrity with a commitment to confidentiality
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Highly disciplined, with a track record of flawless execution and deadline adherence
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and work across diverse teams
What Sets You Apart:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
Project Management certification (e.g., PMP)
Expertise in change management and communication, with a focus on employee engagement and morale during transitions
