Role Description

This contract role is for a Web Developer based on-site in Houston, TX. The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function. The role includes working with web applications, troubleshooting website issues, and optimizing website performance. The developer will work closely with our HR team to produce visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Qualifications

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies

Experience with back-end technologies such as PHP, Python, or Node.js

Skills in web design and UI/UX principles

Familiarity with database management systems, e.g., MySQL, MongoDB

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on-site

Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress or Joomla is a plus

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, highly preferred
