An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Finance & Operations Manager to join a dynamic and design-focused international business with a strong presence in North America and Europe. This position will be based at the US office in Edison, New Jersey, supporting the continued growth of premium B2B products within the design and manufacturing sector.
Reporting directly to the US CEO and working closely with the global finance team based in Europe, this role will oversee a range of finance, operations, and back-office functions while playing a pivotal role in ensuring smooth cross-functional collaboration across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and support all administrative and operational functions, including accounting, customer service, and logistics teams (team of 4).
Coordinate with global departments including Finance, IT, Technical Operations, and Logistics to manage open orders, system updates, and projects.
Prepare financial reports, including monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and journal entries.
Manage accounts receivable/payable, payroll processing (ADP/Canada), and bank reconciliations.
Support monthly reporting on cash flow, expenses, forecasting, commissions, and KPIs.
Handle vendor payments, internal controls, expense tracking, and sales tax coordination with external CPA.
Support the upcoming migration from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics, contributing to process improvement and system implementation.
Partner with the customer service team to ensure accuracy across invoicing, returns, and client communications.
Act as a point of contact for customers regarding order, shipping, and billing issues.
Provide general office and warehouse support where needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in finance and operations, ideally within a premium B2B product or manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of accounting processes and financial reporting.
Experienced in managing small, agile teams and cross-functional coordination.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel; exposure to Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-focused with a team-oriented mindset.
Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude, especially within international, design-led environments.
